Acute Burn Wound versus Chronic Burn Wound

Key Points

• Acute Burn are burns that has a duration of  less than 12 weeks or 3 mos  from the time of injury. It follows the normal phase of wound healing 
• Chronic Burn occurs with more than 12 weeks or 3 mos duration. It does not follow the normal phase of wound healing 

Modified Radical Mastectomy

As a surgical resident this operation  is one of the most interesting and aesthetically requiring procedure. I am hoping to more mastectomies and breast reconstruction in the future.
